About Us – Award-Winning Renovator and Custom Luxury Homebuilder
Consultation & Planning
The first step in any new relationship is to get acquainted. Equus, Inc., award-winning custom homebuilder, will schedule a meeting where we will discuss your vision for this project and how we can help you achieve your goals. This free consultation will allow us to make informed recommendations on the scope of the project, and we will discuss budget considerations and timelines.
Design & Review
Your Equus, Inc. Design-Build Design Team is ready to go to work for you. Your Designer will visit your home or building site to take measurements and verify all of your project’s details. Then, the Designer and Design Consultant will schedule a meeting to confirm your project’s vision, scope, budget and schedule. Once everyone is in agreement, the Designer will begin work on your new home or remodel designs.
Once the plans are ready, we will schedule a meeting with you to review them in detail. There may be multiple design review meetings depending upon the complexity of your home project.
Materials Selection & Budget Overview
The materials selection meeting (or meetings, depending on the complexity of your project) is where you will decide on the important details of your project: flooring, appliances, cabinetry, lighting design and more.
The materials selection will allow your Design Team to prepare a final and accurate proposal for your project. A Production Team Review meeting will take place between you and your Design Team where final plans, materials and timelines will be confirmed.
Equus, Inc. Design-Build will then contact the sub-contractors working on your new home or remodeling project. We will confirm project parameters and timelines with them.
Then, the Contract Budget and Plan Review meeting will take place between you and your Design Team where final designs, materials, budgets and timelines are approved.
Construction & Follow-Up
A Pre-Construction meeting will take place between you and your Design Team. We will discuss the logistics of your project before it begins. Once construction starts, you will have weekly walk-throughs with members of your Design Team to ensure you are updated at each milestone and that work is progressing according to the timeline.
Construction Complete
Before construction is finished, you will have a final walk-through with members of your Design Team. A final punch list will be compiled of any outstanding items that the contractors need to complete. After those items are fulfilled, you are ready to move in and enjoy your new space.
